SPORTING Club Inkberrow are busy preparing for their first season as a step six club ahead of their Hellenic League Division One opener this weekend.
Inkberrow won the Herefordshire Premier Division last season, winning 24 of their 30 league matches to pip Ledbury Town to the title by a single point.
And the club are now ensuring that their Sands Road ground meets the FA’s ground requirements with the installation of a new stand and floodlights currently ongoing.
Inkeberrow begin their league campaign away at Moreton Rangers on Saturday, August 5 before travelling to Long Crendon on Tuesday, August 8 (7.45pm kick-off).
And Inkberrow then travel to Abingdon United on Saturday, August 12 before entertaining Kidlington Reserves in their first home game of the season on Tuesday, August 15 (7.45pm kick-off).
Inkberrow finish August with home games against Clanfield 85 on Tuesday, August 22 (7.45pm kick-off) and Cheltenham Saracens on Monday, August 28.
All fixtures kick-off at 3pm unless stated otherwise.
The club has an England Accredited women’s section which has been running for more than a decade and a thriving junior section.
