PERSHORE Town manager Lewis Marston has appointed his coaching team for the 2023/24 campaign.
Marston replaced Danny Janes in the Community Stadium dugout last month and has acted quickly to add three key coaches to his backroom team.
The new Plums boss has named Louis Andrews as his assistant manager with Matt Finnegan to take up the position of first team coach and James Rushton to be Pershore’s goalkeeping coach.
Andrews said: “It’s a great opportunity to be a part of a fantastic football club, one I couldn’t turn down.
“I’m looking forward to the challenge and working with Lewis, the team and everyone involved with the club.”
Finnegan added: “I’m excited and looking forward to this new venture at Pershore Town.
“Having worked with Lewis at Leamington under-23’s last season, we’ve developed a good understanding of how the other works which I think will only be beneficial to us as a team.
“We had a successful season at Leamington which we want to continue here at Pershore. This is a whole new challenge and one I can’t wait to get started.”
Rushton said: “I’m so looking forward to my fourth season here with Pershore Town.
“What a season it’s going to be working with a fantastic new management team, some new faces and the challenges of step five football.”
Following a memorable 2022/23 campaign, Marston and his coaching team will hope to guide Pershore to more success next season.
