EVESHAM United lost 1-0 at home against Havant and Waterlooville as the Robins suffered their first league defeat of the season.
The game’s only goal came on 23 minutes as Ryan Seager caught goalkeeper Jenson Kilroy off his line at the Spiers and Hartwell Stadium.
The result means Evesham sit 10th in the Southern League Premier South table.
Evesham went close twice early on as Will Owens saw his free-kick from 30-yards out travel the wrong side of the post.
And Owens saw another powerful set-piece saved by Havant goalkeeper Ben Dudzinski.
However, Havant broke the deadlock on 23 minutes as Seager lobbed the ball over Kilroy from just inside the Evesham half.
After the break, Dudzinski denied Levi Steele from close range before Ethan Dunbar’s volley crashed against the crossbar.
However, the Robins could not find an equaliser in the remaining minutes.
Evesham are next in action against Poole Town on Saturday, August 23 with kick-off at 3pm at the BlackGold Stadium.
