EVESHAM United ended a run of five games without a win with a dominant 4-1 victory against Dorchester Town.
Goals from Owen Foye and Ethan Patterson put the Robins ahead before Levi Steele scored a late brace to seal the points at the Spiers and Hartwell Stadium.
The result means Evesham sit 10th in the Southern League Premier South table, six points outside of the play-off places.
Mike Ford’s side made the perfect start when Swindon Town loanee Foye found the bottom right corner from close range following a cross from the left after just two minutes.
However, Dorchester drew level just four minutes later after Marcus Daws intercepted a stray pass and squared the ball to Joe Parker who found the net.
Evesham reclaimed the lead after the break on 65 minutes when Patterson headed Kai Churchley’s corner into the roof of the net to score his first goal of the club.
And the Robins extended their lead eight minutes from time when substitute Steele met Amer Awadh’s lofted pass with a bullet header just moment after his introduction.
Steele struck again on 89 minutes as he turned home on the rebound after Ethan Dunbar’s initial effort came back off the post.
Evesham are next in action against Bracknell Town on Tuesday, November 25 with kick-off at 7.45pm at the Spiers and Hartwell Stadium.
