EVESHAM United secured a fourth straight league win with a 2-0 home victory against Melksham Town.
The Robins took the lead courtesy of Alfie Dunn’s early strike before Levi Steele sealed the points late on at the Spiers and Hartwell Stadium.
And the result means Evesham sit second in the Southern League Division One South table, seven points behind leaders Yate Town.
Evesham broke the deadlock on 11 minutes when Dunn fired a loose ball into the bottom left corner from 15-yards out after Melksham failed to deal with a cross from the right.
And Steele secured the points in style one minute from time with a volley into the top left corner after Jude Franks kept out his initial shot.
Evesham are next in action against Malvern Town on Saturday, February 15 with kick-off at 3pm at the HDAnywhere Community Stadium.
