EVESHAM United had a late penalty saved as they went down 2-1 at home to Hamworthy United.
George Calverley put the Dorset visitors ahead in Saturday’s contest after touching home a Frankie Monk corner in the 18th minute and they doubled the lead in the 76th minute from another setpiece as Sean Wright netted from close range.
Dan Griffiths replied two minutes later and the Robins had the chance to level matters when the referee pointed to the spot for a Drew Eccott-Young handball in the Hamworthy area.
However, Adam Mace’s spot-kick was easily saved by Tommy Scott.
