Evesham United looking to get back on track

Evesham Editorial 22nd Dec, 2017 Updated: 22nd Dec, 2017   0

EVESHAM United will be hoping to end a frustrating run of postponements when they entertain Larkhall Athletic at the Spiers & Hartwell Jubilee Stadium tomorrow (Saturday) in the Evo-Stik Division One West division.

The Robins last played on December 2 with recent games against Swindon Supermarine and Cinderford Town both being postponed.

Tenth-placed Evesham lie two points above Larkhall but they will need to regain a winning momentum over the festive period to close the gap on the top five, with fifth-placed Supermarine six points ahead.

On Boxing Day, the Robins travel to North Leigh United.

Boss Paul Collicutt will hope to include Aysa Corrick for a belated debut.

Corrick, who was with West rivals Paulton Rovers, has been playing for Hellenic League leaders Highworth, scoring 12 goals in 17 matches.

Midfielder Bradley Gray has left the Robins, however, due to work commitments and is joining Swindon Supermarine.
