PROLIFIC Evesham United striker Lance Smith has rejected a move to Redditch United.
Reds boss Darren Byfield, who saw his side hammered 8-1 at Frome Town on Saturday, had opened talks with Smith, who has scored 26 times in league and cup this season to help the Robins into second place in Southern League Division One South & West.
However, the former Badsey Rangers forward, who recently turned down a move to another higher ranked side – Hednesford Town – has opted to remain at the Jubilee Stadium which is a massive boost to Paul Collicutt’s side’s promotion hopes.
