TONY Hemming was an impressive winner of the latest River Avon series match after 14 Evesham Jubilee AS members travelled to Twyning.
Hemming put together a fine bag of roach to win the match, weighing in with 6lb 13oz.
Ian Pitman was second with 2lb 2oz in a net of roach again and third was Andy Mitchell, also with roach for 2lb 0oz.
The two sections winners were Gary Seadon, who proved his running water class, weighing in 1lb 15oz from a section that produced very little for the other anglers.
Graham Myttton, another river specialist, won the other section with 1lb 11oz.
