EVESHAM lost their final four wickets for 18 runs as they fell eight runs short of victory against Pedmore in the Worcestershire League Division One.
Having dismissed visitors Pedmore for 122, Evesham looked well-placed at 89-5 with plenty of overs in hand.
But Chris Bourne dismissed Wajahat Chohan to begin a mesmerising spell off four for 16 after 3.2 overs as Evesham were skittled for 114 in 22.2 overs.
After the fall of three early wickets, Nasir Mehmood (10) and Johnson Lourdusarmy (39) steadied the ship for the hosts until the late collapse.
Earlier, Pedmore also found scoring runs difficult with only opener Asif Iqbal (24) and Dave Skelding (23) managing to get beyond 20.
Adnan Sagheer took 3-43 off 12 overs, Sadam Khan claimed 3-21 and Mohammed Fahim Maan 2-28 off nine overs as the visitors were all out for 122 in 36.1 overs.
Evesham head to Stourport tomorrow (Saturday).
