NEW INN PERSHORE came from 2-0 down at the interval to secure the Birdseye Sports Evesham Sunday League Division Two title with a 3-2 home victory over Offenham Rovers.

In a dramatic end to the season, the visitors took command, but a Lee Miller double and a Kyle Ballard goal denied Rovers a double having lifted the Express-Funding Mick Godwin Cup last Wednesday thanks to a two-goal win over Cropthorne.

Division Three champions Broadway United Reserves comfortably defeated runners-up Bretforton Old Boys Reserves 6-2 through goals from Hicks, Cooper, Goodall, Taylor, Burtenshaw and Berryman. Old Boys were on the mark through Jones and Marshall.

Stratford United closed with a 5-2 victory at Bengeworth in which Waldron and Grinnell both netted twice and Rapson also scored for the visitors. Jackson and Giles scored for the hosts.

Pebworth drew 1-1 at home to Evesham United Sunday as Smaylen and Ingles scored respectively.

On Sunday evening Bretforton Old Boys lifted the Evesham Hospital Junior Cup after defeating Evesham WMC 1-0 thanks to a Will Gayton goal early in the second half.

The previous week, Worcester League outfit Hallow retained the Pershore Hospital Junior Cup as they proved too strong for Evesham WMC, whilst Alderton retained the Minor Cup by defeating Bretforton Old Boys Reserves on penalties.
