PERSHORE High School’s year eight team successfully defended their District League trophy by defeating Blackminster 9-0 in the final.
Caretaker manager and Pershore High School sixth-former Jack McCabe was quick to pay tribute to the victory by saying: “The scoreline wasn’t the most important factor out there, it was the manner in which the lads played and got the job done. There was real quality on show in the final third.”
Pershore now start their winter break training schedule with games continuing after the holidays and the future looking bright.
