MILD conditions greeted competitors when Evesham Golf Club ladies played in two different competitions for either the Veterans Trophy or the Captain’s Friendly Trophy over 12 holes.
The conditions helped enable some good scores to come in and winner of the Veterans Trophy was Ruth Masters and runner-up Margaret Williams.
Winner of the Captain’s Friendly Trophy was Melanie Evans, with Lesley Curnock runner-up.
The presentation evening was then held when everyone could celebrate their year of golfing achievements. A number of trophies had been presented to winners throughout the year, but there were still some remaining which were presented during the evening by ladies’ captain Angela Budden.
