ARON Taylor-Smith claimed a hat-trick of independent podium finishes driving for Evesham-based Evans Halshaw Power Maxed Racing in the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) at Thruxton.
Taylor-Smith crossed the line eighth in race three, ninth in race two and 10th in race one to remain ahead of teammate Mikey Doble in the independent drivers standings.
Doble finished just behind Taylor-Smith in 11th in race one and also crossed the line in the same position in race three after a 14th place finish in race two.
Evans Halshaw Power Maxed Racing sit seventh in the teams standings on 153 points just behind TOYOTA GAZOO Racing UK (154) and Laser Tools Racing with MB Motorsport (158).
The next round of the BTCC takes place at Oulton Park from June 22 to June 23.
