MIKEY Doble just missed out on securing a first podium finish of the season in the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) at Snetterton.
Doble, driving for Evesham-based Evans Halshaw Power Maxed Racing, finished fourth in race two either side of 13th and 10th place finishes in the other two races.
Teammate Aron Taylor-Smith finished 12th in races one and two before crossing the line 15th in race three.
Taylor-Smith leads Doble in the Independent drivers standings by just one point while Power Maxed Racing top the independent teams standings.
Power Maxed Racing return to the track at Thruxton on June 8 and 9.
