ASTON SOMERVILLE were crowned Littleton Bowling Club Invitation Gala winners in glorious conditions on Sunday.
Teams from the local area as well as Worcester and two from Cam and Wootton-under-Edge were divided into two sets of ten, playing four games each throughout the day.
The match for third and fourth place was between Pershore skipped by Roger Page and Andra’s Cam team.
There were only six shots scored between them after four ends, but then Pershore gradually pulled away to win 15-5.
First and and second place was between Aston Somerville skipped by Dave Hill and Cam skipped by Len Bennett.
This game also started off very evenly, with only seven shots scored after six ends, but Hill’s team then took two shots on each of the next three ends to win 11-2.
