EVESHAM Archery Club hosted their AGM and presented more than 30 awards to its members.

Saskia Bakker took up the committee chair role, replacing Ian Tilston after he retired to the position of vice chair.

And the departure of Jullian Grant from the committee saw Adam Benyon take up the post of records officer.

There were more than 30 category awards for both indoors and outdoors as well as the certificates for the Ultimate Winter Archer.

In the Bill Clemson Portsmouth round competition, Jacquie Holmes in the Women’s Compound division, Alfie Wilkes in the Men’s Compound, Alex Shehata-Morgan in the Men’s Recurve, Saskia Bakker in the Women’s Recurve, Natalya Stone in the Women’s Barebow and Tony Davy in the Men’s Barebow all claimed first place medals.

And the same winners also claimed the respective awards for the club’s indoor championships except for Luke Birch who won the Men’s Recurve.

Jacquie Holmes won the prestigious Victor Ludorum, awarded to the archer who has entered the most competitions, consistently achieved the best scores and shot past their handicap over the course of the year.

And Luke Wilson claimed the President’s Medal for exemplary service to the club after developing the club’s new website – eveshamarcheryclub.com
