STOW Rugby Club are delighted to announce Nick Runciman has agreed to head the coaching team at the Southern Counties North outfit for the forthcoming season.
Playing at scrum half, Runciman progressed through the Gloucester Academy before joining Worcester Warriors for three seasons and then moving to London Welsh and finally back to Gloucester, only for injury to curtail his time at Kingsholm.
Runciman also represented England at Under 21 level and the Barbarians.
Having been promoted into Southern Counties North for the 2013/14 season, Stow were determined to continue their momentum which they did by finishing a very creditable sixth, and now with the experience of Runciman to help they are very excited about the future.
Pre-season training is due to start in the first week of July and new players would be very welcome to join a very friendly club with superb facilities.
