RESIDENTS across Wychavon district, along with those in the rest of Worcestershire will be heading to the polls on Thursday, May 1.
There will be 57 Worcestershire County Council seats contested across 53 divisions, including 12 in Wychavon District.
Polls will be open from 7am to 10pm when all the ballot boxes across Droitwich, Evesham and Pershore and the rest of the county will be collected.
The count will be held at Pershore Leisure Centre from 10am on Friday, May 2, and the Observer will be there to bring you all the results live.
The current make-up of Worcestershire County Council – as determined by the 2021 vote and any subsequent by-elections – is 45 Conservative, 3 Labour, 4 Liberal Democrat and 5 others.
Here are the candidates for Evesham, Pershore and Broadway
There are five candidates in Bredon – Joe Davin (Reform UK), Margaret Forrest (Green Party), Sharon Gibbons (Liberal Democrat), Adrian Hardman (Conservative) and Hannah McGahan (Labour).
Standing in Broadway are: Angela Crump (Liberal Democrat), Emma Kearsey (Conservative), Madeline Kirby (Green Party), David Owen (Labour) and Keith Williams (Reform UK).
Contesting the seat for Evesham North West are: Sam Barstow (Reform UK), Nancie Buckland (Green Party), Mark Goodge (Conservative), Matthew Jones (Liberal Democrat) and Mary Tasker (Labour).
Battling it out for Evesham South seat are: Amanda Capewell (Labour), Marino Cretu (Green Party), Michele Hulme (Reform UK), Sally Jones (Liberal Democrat), Rob Robinson (Independent) and Emma Stokes (Conservative).
There are five candidates in Harvington – Santinder Bell (Reform UK), Terry Bennett (Conservative), Paul Clayson (Green Party), Andrew Fieldsend-Roxborough (Liberal Democrat) and David Tasker (Labour).
The candidates in Littletons are: Neal Cartwright (Labour), Graham Kent (Heritage Party), John Littlechild (Liberal Democrat), Aaron Powell (Conservative), Hannah Robson (Green Party) and Liz Williams (Reform UK).
The Pershore division is being contested by: Dan Boatright-Greene (Liberal Democrat), Fiona Nunan (Green Party), Sam Tarran (Conservative), Paul Wallis (Reform UK) and Christopher Windsor (Labour).
And in Upton Snodsbury the candidates are: Steve Ainsworth (Labour), Philip Killoran (Liberal Democrat), Robert Nichols (Green Party), Linda Robinson (Conservative) and Sean Stock (Reform UK).
