CHILDREN at Worcestershire’s Orchard Service, the county’s NHS Children’s Community Nursing and Palliative Care Team were treated to a fun-filled pantomime performance of Cinderella.
Members of the Starlight Children’s Charity travelling pantomime paid them a visit to perform an interactive, new adaptation of the classic children’s story.
Packed full of fun, the young patients and their siblings were encouraged to laugh, cheer and sing along as the four actors performed for the patients and their families.
Sian Jackson, community play specialist at Orchard Service said; “Christmas is a really exciting time of year for children and events such as this allow us to bring the festive spirit to our patients out in the community, many of whom are very unwell.”
