NHS STAFF Across Worcestershire have been promoting nutrition and hydration this week as part of a national campaign to get people living healthier lifestyles.

A number of events and activities have been held throughout the week which began on Monday and runs until Sunday.

Among them have been creating ‘mocktails’ at Evesha,m Community Hospital on Wednesday to highlight an alternative way of enjoying fruit and vegetables as part of a healthy diet.

Tea parties have also been held across all wards for inpatients and their visitors.

Fiona McKella, Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust’s Clinical and Service Lead Dietician, said: “Nutrition and Hydration week is a national campaign that really helps to promote what we do and encourages others to focus on their own and their patients’ nutrition and hydration needs as well as prompting small changes that can make such a big difference to a person’s health and wellbeing.”
