Woman inappropriately touched whilst walking alone in Evesham

POLICE are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a woman in her 40s was touched inappropriately whilst walking alone in Evesham.

It happened sometime between 11am and 1pm last Wednesday (March 22) on Blind Lane whilst the victim was walking by the rugby club.

As she was walking she slipped and fell over. As she got up, a man who was behind her is understood to have hit her knee with a stick and she fell down again.

The man is then reported to have touched her inappropriately. The woman kicked the man before he left the area.




He is described as wearing a dark coloured hood over his face, jogging bottoms, and white trainers.

Police enquiries are currently ongoing, but officers are keen to speak to people who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area at the time or who witnessed the incident.
