A WOMAN has been arrested in Evesham town centre for failing to appear in court.
Police apprehended the 39‑year‑old today (Tuesday, March 31) for not attending Worcester Magistrates’ Court on last week on Tuesday, March 24 for a shoplifting offence.
She has been taken into custody and will be placed before the first available court.
A spokesperson for the force said: “We remain committed to keeping the town centre safe and supporting our local businesses.”
