THE MET Office has issued a yellow weather warning for snow and ice across Worcestershire.
Showers of rain, sleet and snow on Thursday (January 29) night could leave a covering of 1cm to 2cm in places.
A yellow warning has also been issued for ice with forecasters suggesting residents should be aware of the risk of tricky driving conditions.
The latest forecast for Evesham by the Met Office suggests suggests light snow showers this evening and perhaps into the early hours.
An early warning has also been issued for Sunday evening into Monday morning with forecasters keeping a eye on a band of rain moving up from the south-west.
Gritting teams will be out across the county’s roads ahead of sub-zero temperatures and potential snowfall.
Crews are set to go out from 5pm today (Thursday) to cover more than 1,300 miles of designated route.
