Win a Halfords bike to support Tower

Evesham Editorial 25th Sep, 2014 Updated: 20th Oct, 2016

A KIND-HEARTED Evesham resident has shared her raffle success in a bid to help raise more cash for the town’s Bell Tower Appeal.

Tricia Smith won a mountain bike kindly donated by Halfords for a raffle at the town’s Cyclefest event on September 14.

But her success presented a problem for Tricia, a confirmed tricycle rider.

“If I got on a two wheeler, I would go straight over the other side. I have no balance.” she said.

And so she donated the Apollo Phaze 20” mountain bike, valued at £199, to the Bell Tower Appeal where it will be auctioned.

Anyone interested in the bike can submit bids in an envelope Cyclefest Bike Auction, Church House, Market Square, Evesham,

WR11 4RW by 5pm on Friday, October 10
