White car sought in Flyford Flavell fatal collision probe

OFFICERS investigating the death of a woman in her 30s in a fatal collision near Flyford Flavell have launched an appeal for the occupants of a white car seen in the area to come forward.

The collision took place between a green Ford C-Max and a blue Audi S3 on the A422 Alcester Road between Flyford Flavell and Inkberrow at about 9.20pm on Friday (August 2).

Emergency services pronounced the woman driver of the C-Max dead at the scene and her next of kin have been informed. The two men in the Audi in their 20s, suffered serious injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment.

Officers had previously appealed for anyone who may have witnessed the collision or had any dashcam footage of the incident to get in touch. They would now also like help in identifying the driver and passenger(s) of a white car which was seen on this stretch of road at around the time of the incident.




A police spokesperson said: “While enquiries are ongoing, we would particularly like to speak to the occupants of a white car that is believed to have been driving along the A422 at around the time of the collision, as we believe they may have vital information that could help with our investigation.

“If you were driving this vehicle or believe you have information that could help identify this vehicle and its owner, please call us on 101.”


Anyone with information or dashcam footage of the incident, is asked to call West Mercia Police on 101 quoting incident number 833s of 2 August 2019 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
