MEMBERS of Evesham Wheelers have raised money for the Alzheimer’s Society and the Evesham Dementia Action Alliance (EDAA).
Evesham Wheelers Steve Bullen, Carol Hall and John Jenkins handed over a cheque of £280 to EDAA representatives Kim Skipsey and Hein van der Steen.
The club believes an active lifestyle can tackle the combination of loneliness, onset of dementia and general lack of well-being.
Evesham Wheelers raise money organising Audax events, long distance rides with challenging sections.
A Wheelers spokesperson said: “Audax rides is one way to lead an active life. Luckily less demanding activities are good for our general well-being too.”
