A TAKE on Agatha Christie’s Spiders’ Web has been on offer at The Valley as The Festival Players brought live theatre back to the town after the Coronavirus lockdown.

Youngsters will take to the stage for a final time today (Saturday) on the outdoor stage thanks to Valley chiefs.

Audiences including Mayor of Evesham Coun Sue Amor have been treated to the famous murder mystery which was written in the 1950s as a tongue-in-cheek story, full of fun and laugher as well as intrigue, a murder and the mystery of ‘whodunnit’.

Agatha Christie wrote it especially for the actress Margaret Lockwood and in The Festival Players production the part of the cheeky and fun-loving Clarissa was played by 15-year-old Bella Martyr-Icke.
