BANK holiday Monday (May 4) provided the paw-fect day out for four-legged fur babies and their owners at Fun Family Dog Show at Hampton Ferry.
From midday, creatures great and small took part in a variety of ten novel categories, including the waggiest tail, cutest puppy and golden oldie.
Their human counterparts enjoyed browsing trade stands and craft stalls and partaking in obligatory refreshments.

The event was attended by the outgoing mayor and mayoress of Evesham, Councillors John Clatworthy and Marion Griffiths, who judged all the categories.
Nyree Riley who organised the event for the first time with sister Toyah Riley, said: “ A massive thank you to everyone who attended. The sun was on our side and it was a really good day.
“Special mention to our judges, the mayor and mayoress of Evesham, and all the stallholders for attending.”

She thanked Abi Weake from Abi’s Pawfect Pals for sponsoring Best in Show and Zara Jenkins from Zigs Dog Grooming for providing a nail trimming service for a good cause.
Top dog went to Topaz, whose owner won a pet first aid course with Abi’s Pawfect Pals.
The day raised £450 for Muscular Dystrophy UK.
