A DRIVER who was caught and arrested following a police pursuit has been sentenced to 39 months in prison for kidnap.
The victim was on board the vehicle when officers from Worcestershire’s Operational Policing Unit (OPU) pulled over the car.
The chase started in Droitwich on December 27, continued to Worcester and was concluded by the police in Evesham.
Three police vehicles boxed in the suspect before making the arrest.

As well as the jail term the man was disqualified from driving for five years.
