ORGANISERS of the Vale of Evesham Vegan Fair have expressed delight after almost 1,000 people attended the popular event
The fair at Evesham Town Hall featured stalls giving away free vegan recipes and food samples and selling vegan meals, cookbooks and beauty products, with many local animal rescue and protection groups being represented.
Ronald Lee, Communications Officer for Worcestershire Vegans and Veggies, said: “After the Fair I spoke to a representative of Midlands Vegan Campaigns, who organised the event, and he was over the moon that so many members of the public had come along to it.
“It just goes to show how more and more people are interested in ending or reducing their consumption of animal products for the benefit of the animals, the environment and their own health.
“Our Worcester branch held their own vegan fair at the city’s Guildhall and were confident would be equally as successful.
