A BOY and teenage girl have been taken to Birmingham Children’s Hospital after a two car crash on Cheltenham Road this morning (Friday).

West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) was called by police to the busy Evesham road at 10.44am and two ambulances attended the scene alongside the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham, the Midlands Air Ambulance Critical Care car and a paramedic officer.

When crews arrived, they found the two vehicles involved in the crash, one of which had rolled over and was in a ditch.

”A woman, boy and teenage girl were out of that car. The girl suffered serious injuries and was taken by ambulance to Birmingham Children’s Hospital for further treatment,” an WMAS spokesperson said.

“The boy was treated for injuries not believed to be serious and was also taken to the Children’s Hospital in a separate ambulance.

“The woman, who was the driver, was treated for injuries not believed to be serious and also required hospital treatment.

The driver of the other car involved, a man, was treated for minor injuries and discharged at the scene.
