Two men were arrested heading towards Evesham on Saturday after police stopped a van that was reported to have been involved in a theft from a building site in Worcester.
The vehicle was seen to leave the site having stolen some items from the location, and was heading in the Evesham direction.
At around 2.30pm, officers from Evesham town centre team searched the van and found the stolen property as well items connected with the intention of going to steal.
West Mercia Police said the investigation is ongoing.
