A COUNTRY-WIDE campign to tackle serious and organised crime saw two arrests made during a raid in Cleeve Prior.
Officers from South Worcestershire supported by the Local Policing Priority Team, Thames Valley Police, Operational Support Unit, Wiltshire Police, Gloucestershire Police, the National Crime Agency, South West Regional Organised Crime Unit and their West Midlands counterparents took part in the raid on Wednesday (November 21).
A 65-year-old man from Cleve Prior was arrested for burglar and a 42-year-old man was arrested for drugs supply offences, aggravated burglary and obstructing a police officer. Other arrests are likely to follow
Det Chief Insp Leighton Harding said: “The operation was part of our Protect campaign to tackle serious organised crime. At the site in Cleeve Prior, warrants were executed which resulted in several arrests and the successful seizure of stolen property, multiple stolen vehicles, drugs and a firearm.”
