AN AIR WEAPON was recovered after two men were arrested in Evesham following reports of a man carrying a firearm.
Officers attended Crown Meadow at about 7pm last night (Wednesday) and searched the area.
A 36-year-old and a 20-year-old, both from Evesham, were arrested on suspicion of carrying a firearm in a public place and remain in custody.
No injuries were reported and there is no wider risk to the public.
Officers are aware of footage of this incident being circulated and ask anyone with any information to get in touch.
