IT WAS a case of cooks rather than crooks in Broadway when an Evesham patrol officer bumped into British TV chef James Martin on Monday (July 1).
PC Ben Trowman of Evesham Safer Neighbourhood Team was on foot patrol around the village when he stumbled across James, who was in town with his car club.
The pair snapped a photo together outside the four-star Lygon Arms Hotel on the high street, where Mr Martin was staying.
The former BBC Saturday Kitchen presenter now hosts James Martin’s Saturday Morning on ITV and has his own restaurant in Broadway’s Lygon Arms Hotel – Grill by James Martin.
