VOLUNTEERS and supporters of a much-loved Evesham charity travelled down to London to witness work carried out within the Tracy Sollis Leukaemia Trust Laboratory.
Members of the Tracy Sollis Leukaemia Trust were welcomed by Professor Alejandro Madrigal and chief executive Henny Braund and heard presentations by members of the research team followed by a comprehensive tour of the labs.
Sue Sollis, founder member of the Tracy Sollis Leukaemia Trust said: “Last year alone we donated more than £50,500 worth of laboratory equipment to assist the scientists with their work.”
Among those who attended was charity shop volunteer Gill Gregg who said: “It was a very inspiring visit and wonderful to see the equipment in full use.
“We all came away highly impressed by the teams enthusiasm and dedication towards their work.”
