HEARTFELT tributes have been paid to Pershore Town committee member Alan Taylor who has died aged 87.
The ‘club legend’ was an original member of the committee when the Plums were founded in 1988.
Town chiefs said Mr Taylor would be forever remembered and greatly missed by everyone connected to the club.
Among those to pay respects was former manager Danny Janes who said:
“A man that epitomised the core values of a football club.
“An absolute gentleman who always wanted what was best for the club.
“I know the success the club had gave him great joy and he enjoyed those special nights.
“I am sure he will be watching over the games
