AN EVESHAM school received a special visit from the town’s MP to see the ‘remarkable’ progress which has been made.
Sir Peter Luff, MP for Mid Worcestershire, attended The De Montfort School to experience first hand the forging of a new shared identity.
The Four Pools Lane site combined the former Evesham High School and Simon De Montfort Middle School.
Headteacher Guy Nichols said: “It was such a pleasure to meet Sir Peter, someone who cares passionately about education and genuinely values the enormous efforts all staff teaching and non-teaching make towards creating an effective school.”
