AN EVESHAM electrical firm is celebrating after scooping a hat-trick of award nominations for their work.
Buzz Electrical has been selected as finalists in national Electrical Industry Awards 2018 as Electrical Contractor of the Year for the second year running and Project of the Year as well as Small Apprenticeship Employer of the Year in the Worcestershire Apprenticeship Awards 2018 for the second year.
The Electrical Industry Awards are open for entries from across the UK and Buzz Electrical will be up against eight other national finalists for the Contractor of the Year award and five in the Project category. The latter honour is based upon quality of work and extent of projects, client feedback, financial performance, marketing, training and investment in people, social responsibility and is judged by independent panel of experts.
Following a large number of nominations in all 10 categories of the Worcestershire Apprenticeship Awards 2018, judges have shortlisted an ‘exceptional group’ of finalists who highlight the hugely positive contribution that apprenticeships have made on the county’s businesses.
Managing director Steve Owens said: “It is a great team effort and recognises their hard work and commitment, thanks must also go to our valued clients who have enabled us to present Buzz Electrical to the award judges and gain this prestigious finalists place.
“We’ve been employing apprentices for 16 years and are passionate about creating local jobs and ‘growing our own’ talent to secure a future workforce.”
The Electrical Industry Awards will be held in London in October with the Worcestershire Apprenticeship Awards held at West Midlands Safari Park in November.
