A TOWN centre car park is to close for one day on Thursday (December 15) due to tree works being carried out.
Wychavon District Council has said due to the tree being at the entrance to the Waterside car park the safest option was to close it.
The tree is having works done to control the roots that are impacting on the nearby footpath.
Unrestricted on-street parking is available along Waterside and long/short stay pay and display are also on offer in the town.
Christine Baxter, Car Parking Services Manager at Wychavon, said: “As the works are right at the entrance the safest thing was for us to close the car park for the day.
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused by these essential works.”
