A LOCAL hairdresser is daring the elements by having a charity head shave in the middle of winter.
Tonia Morrison is the manager of Hairforce, situated in the Library Arcade and she is determined to raise significant funds for The Tracy Sollis Leukaemia Trust which raises money in support of research into blood cancer.
Tonia will be seated as a client in her mother’s saloon when her assistant hairdresser, Ellie Lane, undertakes the task in hand.
“People having hair loss through treatment find it hard, but it will often grow back even better and stronger than before,” she said.
