SCHOOLS across Worcestershire are being urged to enter their breakfast clubs into a competition being run by Kellogg’s.
The Breakfast Club Awards, launched by pop star, Loose Women TV panellist Jamelia, give schools the chance to win £1,000 by taking the regional title.
The regional winners will then be put forward to the national competition with the breakfast club judged to be the best in the UK being awarded another £1,000.
Mum-of-three Jamelia said it was fantastic to be launching the Kellogg’s Breakfast Club Awards.
“Growing up breakfast club was a key part of our family life and was a great driver in growing my confidence as a child.
“My mother was a single, working parent therefore breakfast club proved support and enabled her to go back to work – while ensuring I had the best start to the day.”
