Thriving traders celebrate in style

POPULAR Pershore traders celebrated their move into larger premises on Church Street with a gathering for the valued customers.

Local independent traders Maison Nero offered champagne and nibbles on Saturday, May 20 to mark the former menswear store undergoing a modern vintage makeover.

A trove of unique gifts and upcycled vintage furniture is now on offer at the shop which first opened its doors four years ago.

Proprietors Neil Reynolds and Alison Brimmell started out by selling their carefully restored furniture online but demand became high enough for them to open a store in Baker’s Arcade in 2015.

This move to larger premises opposite their former home came as a result of the dedication by a family team to create a tranquil haven to shop for those special occasion gifts, soft furnishings and homewards.

Commissions for painting and refurbishment of furniture are also offered while the couple also offered painting workshops periodically.

The shop is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10am – 4pm.
