THREE talented artists from Worcestershire are celebrating after starting a new business venture together.

Mixed media artist Susan Birth, artist and photographer Richard Nicholls and abstract painter Dan Holden used their spare time during lockdown to set up Yew Trees Studios at Bevere Gallery.

The studio has been set up next to the gallery to allow art lovers to speak with the artists themselves after viewing their work.

The trio, who said they are optimistic about the future, are also looking at utilising outdoor space for events and workshops.

Kim Taylor, owner of Bevere Gallery in the centre of the county, said: “This is a really positive addition to our site and brings their artwork to life.

“It gives visitors the opportunity to discuss the artwork directly with the artists.

“If you fancy a trip out to try something different, pay a visit to this new studio where you can be sure of a warm welcome – all while gaining an insight into the working life of an artist.”

Bevere Gallery is one of the leading UK ceramic showcases, with more than 100 pieces of art on show.

This includes jewellery, sculpture, garden art, original prints, paintings and metalwork.

There is also a popular cafe on site which boasts spacious countryside seating areas.

Yew Trees Artist Studios reopened on April 13. Opening hours are Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm.

Fore more information search the studio on Facebook or call Susan Birth on 07762 351192.
