UPDATE – Man charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving and other offences.
THREE men have been arrested after the hit and run which took place on Bridge Street in Evesham on March 21.
A 73-year-old woman was struck by a car at 11.05am whilst she was crossing the road and the car then failed to stop.
The woman was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and remains in critical condition.
A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, failing to stop and failing to report a road traffic collision.
Two other men, aged 32 and 26, were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, possession of class A drugs and money laundering.
All three remain in police custody.
