THE VOTES have been counted and this week the Observer can reveal the two winners of this year’s Baby Photo Competition.
Congratulations go to Oscar Kurkus who won the 0 to 17 month category and Amelia Lozynska who took home the top prize in the older 18 to 36 month age group.
Almost 200 youngsters were photographed during this year’s event, which saw photographer Andrea Powell spend eight days in the Riverside Shopping Centre because of the interest from proud parents.
Judges whittled down entries and shortlisted into two groups of 20 before the vote was thrown open to you, our readers, to have your say.
And it was a close call in both age groups but unfortunately there can only be one winner in each.
The Observer would like to thank the hundreds of people who voted and photographer Andrea Powell once again for her efforts.
The two winning families will each receive a giant framed photo of the featured picture.
