THIEVES used a JCB to rip a cash point machine from the wall of a shop in Bidford on Avon.

It happened at about 3.22am on Saturday (July 1) at the One Stop shop on the High Street.

After ripping the machine from the wall, the thieves then put it on the back of trailer being pulled by a maroon colored Volvo saloon type car.

The Volvo then made off across the bridge towards Honeybourne Road. The JCB was also left on the bridge.

Anyone who saw the theft take place or saw the JCB and Volvo with the trailer driving towards or away from Bidford are urged to contact police on 101, quoting incident number 0073.

Alternatively, information can be passed on anonymously by contacting Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their website.
