THIEVES have broken into five cars in two Vale villages in just one night.
The spate of break-ins has seen Sedgeberrow and Ashton-under-Hill targeted, with five incidents reported to the police which all happened last night (Monday).
Between 10pm 8.30am a Suzuki Grand Vitara parked on the drive of a house on Main Street, Sedgeberrow was broken into and a small amount of cash was stolen.
Also on Main Street, thieves broke into a Jaguar and searched the car but nothing appears to have been stolen.
Then on Winchcombe Road in Sedgeberrow another car was broken into, but again nothing has been reported stolen.
Two cars were also targeted in Ashton-under-Hill as well last night.
First, a Peugeot 206 car, parked on Elmley Road, was broken into and a Star Blue Electric acoustic guitar, in a dark grey coloured soft padded case, was stolen.
And thieves then broke into a Porsche Megane, also parked on Elmley Road. They stole a black travel wallet containing bank cards and cash and a bright red Jack Wolf waterproof jacket.
