THIEVES have stolen clothing from a popular Evesham store after smashing through its entrance in a car.
West Mercia Police were called to Barbour at Outdoor and Country on The Valley in Twyford shortly after 2am on Monday (December 19).
A vehicle, thought to be a red Land Rover, is believed to have been used to ram through the shop and raiders made off with a ‘quantity’ of clothing.
A stolen vehicle was found burnt out a short distance away in Harvington, which may be linked.
Investigations are ongoing but officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area at the time.
They are also reminding residents to be mindful of items of clothing, including Barbour jackets, being offered for sale which could be stolen.
